A Crisis

Senior Exhibition, 2020

Through the use of photographing spaces, I have developed this relationship with my photos as significant reminders of my identity during the specific time that they were taken. Memory has always been fleeting, but I have only been able to really understand who I am today through the use of photographing my life, something that I have hidden and not found value in. Through this series, I explore how specific photos carry with them a connotation of people, feelings, and a deeper understanding of my existence. The grids show the process of looking back at memories and the physical notes and associations that I have created with the imagery.
